Shirley Robertson, OBE is a British sailor and Olympic gold medallist. She made it into the history books by becoming the first British woman to win two Olympic gold medals at consecutive games, Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004.
Shirley was named female World sailor of the Year by the International Sailing Federation in 2000, and was appointed an MBE in 2000 and an OBE in 2005 (all this information came from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shirley_Robertson).
Now, the little matter of how this relates to me :) Shirley has a fab podcast dedicated to sailing and it needed some cover artwork and some illustrations to help market and promote. We created the several variations below with different shaped frames and dimensions. You can also see some of my early sketches and ideas too.
