It's the 1st of March, which means it's St David's Day (or Dydd Gwyl Dewi if you speak Welsh). The special day to honour the country's patron saint and to celebrate Wales and everything Welsh! To commemorate this most wonderful of days here is an illustration of a baby dragon. Now go and celebrate with a some lovely Welsh cakes! Yummy!
I've just created this A4 sized illustration on behalf of the RFU in England. The cartoon is to appear as half of an A3 poster that will promote the RFU Injured Players Foundation and will appear in every rugby club in England. The aim of the poster is to encourage many wonderful people in the rugby world to run a marathon for the RFU charity.
It was a great illustration to work on and needed to be completed very last minute. The whole project went from initial conversation to finished artwork in just over 24 hours! Let's just say my eyes were a little tired by the end of it all. As usual I would love to know what you think, especially if you see the poster out and about in your rugby club. As you may have seen from my previous posts showing my AntCreationsTV time lapse videos then you will probably know I have been working on a 'Health and Safety' themed calendar for a client of mine, RS Components. The project involved creating twelve (one for each month!) illustrations/cartoons depicting a health and safety scenario of some sort. Some personal related health and safety accidents and some health and safety at work issues, but all examples of 'how not to do it'!

The cartoons were to appear on a company Powerpoint presentation and therefore needed to be simple and convey the relevant message quickly.
There were 12 in total, but the others were quite personal in their content so I have only added these four.
