I recently created this illustration for Mastek the global software company. The finished artwork was based around the London 2012 Olympics (with a little nod to Mo Farah's 'mobot'), printed at around 3 metres x 2.5 metres and used as a backdrop for an exhibition stand. I've not yet seen any photographs of the event, but I was told the image was great at attracting the crowds and was quite impressive when printed so large. I'm afraid I can't take the glory for all the artwork however as certain elements of the illustration were taken from stock due to time and budget restraints. Regardless, the end results were just what the client wanted and the whole thing was turned around very quickly and on quite a tight budget. Enjoy!
The Olympic Torch came to Market Harborough!
The Olympic Torch came through my town of Market Harborough yesterday. It was a bit wet but all good fun and a really great atmosphere despite the weather! Looking forward to the big show and hopefully the sun will shine by the end of the month and help make London 2012 a real success! Here's a picture I created a while back to celebrate the games coming to London. Enjoy!
The Olympic Torch will be in Harborough on Tuesday 2nd July!
It's almost here! The torch it's a coming! If you're in the Harborough area next Tuesday 2nd July make sure you're on the Olympic Torch route. I might just see you there. Here's this weeks Mal and Lard cartoon strip celebrating the fact. Enjoy!

Here's an early look at this week's Mal and Lard cartoon which will appear in tomorrow's Harborough Mail. Check out the Mal and Lard blog for more info on the story and lots more duck related shenanigans!
Olympic/sport/school themed runners
I've just finished these six little illustrations for Stanley Baker Studios based in Essex. The characters are to appear in a school scrap book for year 6 students. The theme is obviously school related characters but as it is an Olympic year they are all running and being generally sporty! We have a boy, a girl, a PE Teacher, a janitor/caretaker, a Headmistress and a good old fashioned dinner lady. Would love to know your thoughts if you have any. Enjoy!
