England are out of the Euro's!

England's journey in this year's European Championships is at an end. My general thoughts are that the defence was strong but they majorly lacked in attack! I personally thought Ashley Young had a rubbish tournament and should never have played a whole game. Regardless of the shouting at the television he stayed on for the whole Italy match and even took a penalty (and we all know what happened there). Here is a sad dog crying over a St George's flag patterned football especially for all the England fans. Depending on who you support either do or do not enjoy! Cheers

Good luck England (got a feeling you'll need it!)

England's opening game of the European Championships starts soon. As there is no hope of a Welsh side making it to any major competition in the near future then I am backing England for glory! Going to need a decent amount of good fortune to make it any real distance in the competition, but I am hopeful of a decent game today against the French. Good luck England!

The Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebration beer and pump clip

The Queen will be celebrating Her Diamond Jubilee over this next weekend. The Langton Brewery have created a special beer to commemorate the occasion and I have had the pleasure of creating the artwork below. I'm not sure if Her Majesty enjoys a pint but I'm sure she would like this one! Let me know what you think. Enjoy!

The Langton Brewery wood effect sign

A sign designed to promote The Langton Brewery. It appears at Farndon Fields Farm Shop here in Market Harborough and is designed to have a traditional style, painted on wood effect. I would love to know if you see the sign (or any of my other bits of work) when you're out and about. Be sure to take a pic and send it to me, I'd love to post it on the blog. Cheers and enjoy!

Bullseye Stout 500ml bottle label for The Langton Brewery

The Langton Brewery's latest offering 'Bullsye Stout' is now officially available in 500ml bottles. The bottles are available in selected places in the Leicestershire area. Here's how the new bottle label looks...

Also, just in case you missed them the first time around here is a link to my blog post for the pump clip and a little video showing how the artwork was created. You can also check out all the other Langton Brewery projects in the 'beer' section of my portfolio. Enjoy!

Italian frog for Warning Zone party at Firenze

Yes, I know it's been absolutely ages since I last posted some work. I've actually been on holiday for a couple of weeks and therefore was too busy beforehand to update my blog (plus I forgot!). Anyway here is a frog I've created recently for Warning Zone. It is the latest adaptation of the frog character I created for Warning Zone. You can see some of the other examples in my portfolio and in previous blog posts 01, 02, 03. This particular frog is being used on an invitation for a 'Supper at Firenze' Italian restaurant in Kibworth. Check out the frog below and how the front of the invitation looks below again. Would love to know what you think. Enjoy!

Sports balls and school stuff

These illustrations were also created for Stanley Baker Studios (see previous post) and designed to be simple, colourful cartoons to appear as individual stickers. The final stickers will be cut to the shape of each image and given away to school kids to stick anywhere they please! Enjoy!

Olympic/sport/school themed runners

I've just finished these six little illustrations for Stanley Baker Studios based in Essex. The characters are to appear in a school scrap book for year 6 students. The theme is obviously school related characters but as it is an Olympic year they are all running and being generally sporty! We have a boy, a girl, a PE Teacher, a janitor/caretaker, a Headmistress and a good old fashioned dinner lady. Would love to know your thoughts if you have any. Enjoy!
