I recently created this illustration for Mastek the global software company. The finished artwork was based around the London 2012 Olympics (with a little nod to Mo Farah's 'mobot'), printed at around 3 metres x 2.5 metres and used as a backdrop for an exhibition stand. I've not yet seen any photographs of the event, but I was told the image was great at attracting the crowds and was quite impressive when printed so large. I'm afraid I can't take the glory for all the artwork however as certain elements of the illustration were taken from stock due to time and budget restraints. Regardless, the end results were just what the client wanted and the whole thing was turned around very quickly and on quite a tight budget. Enjoy!
Movember Mo' Men Moments - Pareto (20% Mo 80% Beard)
This is Pareto (the 80/20 guy! Click here if you don't know who he is). His theories even work with facial hair it seems. Pareto's facial fuzz is around 20% moustache and 80% beard I reckon. Hope you're still enjoying Movember and all the hairy goodwill it brings. If you're growing a 'tache of your own then maybe 20% of that hair is causing 80% of your itchiness? If so scratch away and know that you are at least 80% good for taking the time to grow that top lip fur! Enjoy!
Movember Mo' Men Moments - Take care Caretaker!
Caretakers (or Janitors for my US friends) rock! Knowledgable, wise and hard working moustache wearing cool dudes. Keep things clean, fresh and well oiled you mo' sporting mop gods! Hurrah!
Movember Mo' Men Moments - Chill out dudes, it's Friday!
Hey dudes, what's happening? I'll tell you what's happening...It's Friday, the Movember mo' is making my lip itch and the only way to stop that scratchy little sucker is to douse it with beer! Radical dudes! Enjoy!
Movember Mo' Men Moments - Teacher 'tache
You boy! Is that facial hair sprouting from your top lip or are you balancing a piece of fluff laden liquorice under your nose?! Well done if it's the former and stop being weird if it's the latter. Enjoy!
Movember Mo' Men Moment (does that make sense?)
Here's a fine old gentleman sporting a dapper moustache. You'll also notice he's rocking a fine cane, hat and hanky combo! Another Movember mo'ment! Enjoy!
It's Movember people! You got the Mo Bro?
It's officially the start of 'Movember'! The month when men (and women?) from all over the World grow a hairy top lip for charity, to help raise funds and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate and testicular cancer. If you're growing a 'tache then good on you! You might look a tad scruffy until that bad boy kicks in, but it's all for a good cause. I'm trying as I usually do, but unfortuantely I'm not quite the master of the mo! Well done to all you Mo Bro's and Mo Sista's out there. Enjoy!
Mailer created for Pip Consultancy
Just created this little A5 mailer for Pip Consultancy. I like clean and simple graphic design. Not too fussy and straight to the point. A little bit of humour can help get the message across too! I've also added a load more examples of my design work in my portfolio pages. Check out my 'Graphic Design' examples and let me know what you think. Enjoy!
VAT Wizard business card and letterhead design
Here's the latest bit of graphic design I've just completed for VAT Wizard the VAT specialists from Kibworth, Leicestershire. I designed the business card and letterhead to work with the logo character I created a short while back. I always believe in keeping things simple when it comes to design especially business stationery. The design needs to have some visual appeal obviously, but the message within the text still needs to come through.
I've also updated the 'Graphic Design' section of my portfolio with some new business cards, stationery, adverts and other bits. Let me know what you think, would love to hear your comments. Enjoy!
NEW Tigers Family blog and mini site added
I've added a few extra pages to my site in the form of a Tigers Family blog and mini site. You can see every new cartoon strip as well as sketches, videos and general news and information regarding the Leicester Tigers official cartoon strip. Check it out, let me know what you think and whether there are any new images or information you'd like to see.
Here's the cartoon strip that went into the last matchday programme at Welford Road to promote the Ospreys game. Enjoy!
